Originally born in Poland, Anna Czekala is a self-taught digital artist living in the South of France.
She started her artistic journey in 2016 when she joined the "Photoshop Artistry"  course by Sebastian Michaels and his advanced program "AWAKE" that provided her with much more advanced skills.
After taking the first steps, she developed a meticulous process that transmutes photography into a kind of visual alchemy by intricately placing real photographic elements with digitally hand painted backgrounds, artistry techniques such as layering, texturing, and compositing.
Her figurative painting is all about depicting the mood and intimacy within a moment, trying to be spontaneous while carefully considering values to create a subtle painterly effect.
Above all, as she says, "working with such a support group that allows me to be the storyteller of my inner worlds and where I can choose either to be a painter, an illustrator, or a photographer is now a very exciting and playful way to shape my artistic life."
Anna's work has been published in many issues of "Living a Photo Artistic Life."
